Godalming Museum is located on Godalming High Street, just opposite the famous Pepperpot and next door to the Town Council offices. Entry to the Museum is free. You can find us at 109a High Street, Godalming, Surrey, GU7 1AQ.

Our opening times are Tuesday to Saturday, 10am - 4pm

  • Our shop is full of lovely local gifts and souvenirs, and we have a great selection of cards and postcards.

  • We have a small but charming cafe that sells hot drinks only. (We will have very limited seating in November and December).

  • We have a beautiful courtyard garden based on designs by Gertrude Jekyll.

  • You are very welcome to bring your own lunch and sit in our garden to eat.

Facilities

  • Regular buses run from Guildford and Haslemere to Godalming town centre.

  • The Museum is a 5 minute walk from Godalming Station.

  • The nearest car park is at South Street (GU7 1AJ) which is directly behind the Museum.

  • Additional access is available through the Museum garden from South Street car park.

  • Baby change facilities are available in the accessible toilet on the ground floor.

Getting Here

Access

  • There is ramped access through the ground floor, but the 1st floor is only accessible via stairs.

  • Assistance dogs are welcome. Water is available on request.

  • We have an accessible toilet on the ground floor.

  • There is stepped access between the museum and South Street carpark,.
